Henne Pauli is well known in the field of editorial management and publishing. He was editor-in-chief of Adformatie, a leading Dutch weekly for professionals in the fields of advertising, media and marketing. Also he headed the Adfo Specialists Group, a publishing group, which is associated with Wolters Kluwer and produces several monthly magazines on marketing and media in addition to operating the highly successful Internet portal Adformatie Online.

Much of his experience at avoiding communication pitfalls was acquired first-hand. He was editor and anchorman of Adfo TV, a weekly magazine that appeared on Dutch commercial television from 1993 to 1996. Other experience was gained serving corporate and government clients as director of corporate communication at Foote, Cone and Belding (FCB).

Pauli began his career as press secretary for Wim Kok, the respected Dutch prime minister, when Kok was head of the FNV, the country's leading trade union federation. At the same time Pauli was editor-in-chief of the FNV weekly bulletin and founding father in 1984 of the monthly FNV magazine with a circulation of nearly one million copies.

Together with Ferdy de Smeth, Henne Pauli is co-author of the book 'Kapitaliseren op het merk' ('Capitalizing on the brand') (Samsom, 1994).
